Darlington Market Food and Drink Festival is returning today with street food, stalls, drinks and music.
From today you will be able to try more than 20 street food vendors at Darlington Market.
There will be 26 local stalls selling a range of wares to browse while you eat your food.
If you fancy a break from shopping there will be an indoor crafts market to get involved in inside the market.
On Sunday, Soosh Sushi School will be running sushi-making classes inside Darlington Market, running five one-hour sessions from 12pm.
You can look forward to listening to live music all weekend from the comfort of a range of bars and pubs around the market square.
Here is what music you can expect:
Friday 3rd May, 6PM, Market Square
Glamtastic - 70’s Glam Rock, from Bowie to T-Rex. This glitter laden band will be rocking out with all the classics.
Saturday 4th / Sunday 5th May, All Day, Market Square
We have one of the finest local DJ’s in the area laying the backdrop to your day as you sample the many wonderful eats and drinks on offer.
Saturday 4th May, 6PM, The Vault
Jeff Barnart - Internationally recognised Jazz & Ragtime Pianist is making a special appearance at The Vault to play the heck out of their Mini Grand Piano! In association with the Darlington New Orleans Jazz Club.
Saturday 4th May, 7pm, Street Food Hall
JenAmii - Two local musicians who came together to form an almighty acoustic duo.
Monday 6th May, 1pm, Market Square
Precinct - Local indie band, Precinct, take the afternoon slot on Bank Holiday Monday to finish off the Festival with a bang.
A Darlington Market spokesperson said: "We know a lot of you have been waiting all year for this one and we can’t wait to welcome you down.
"From 4pm on Friday May 3 until 4pm on Monday May 6, Darlington Market and the surrounding area will be awash with incredible food, drink, and entertainment from across the North East.
